The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list:

Fashion can be fairly subjective for each person. And while one might look stunning in a particular style, others might struggle to pull it off the same way. While it is to do with our personalities, body types, and problem-areas sometimes, other times it can just be a choice and the confidence to rock a certain look as the other person did. And it is not something to break our heads over. Every person has a choice to have their personal style and work around that. Read till the end to know about the 7 fashion styles, how they evolved and where they can be sported well.

These styles in fashion, however, are ones that almost anyone can pull off. Few of which you must even be owning like a Boss, without realizing that it’s a style many are fond of. We have collected a few of the mainstream, most loved, and most convenient to pull off styles and explained where and how you could try them. Check out these gorgeous styles and see which one suits your personality the best!

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Boho Style

Boho:

Describing Boho or the “Bohemian” style would be a bit challenging until you see someone flaunt it. This style is the most in-trend (out of the 7 fashion styles) these days and is definitely one of the most expressive and attractive ones. Boho has a hippie background to it, but people who prefer the boho style, do it with their own modulations and tweaks. The elements are usually a free and flowy printed dress/skirt, a light head accessory, a pair of gladiator or funky boots, and lots of stacked-up boho jewelry.

Where: Boho would totally vibe with vacations, day outs, or just another summer afternoon. This keeps it breezy, fun, and feminine all at once.

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Classic Style

Classic:

Trends come and go. But Classic style is something that always stays evergreen of the 7 fashion styles. It has a special feel to it, making it look much more classier than any other style. With a classic, it’s all about picking styles that have stuck for years and are still appreciated, or judging which new trend is here to stay. People who wear classics are usually judged to be less open to experiments when it comes to style. And why should they? After all, their classy choices tell their stories out loud.

Where: Classic Style can be worn absolutely anywhere. Event, occasion, time, and place no-bar. Classic becomes a lifestyle and not just a style kind. And that says it all.

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Ethnic Style

Ethnic:

Any list is incomplete without the Ethnic Style. Especially for us Indians it is the most loved among all 7 fashion styles. A style that represents our beautiful culture holds a great value for us. And why wouldn’t it? It certainly is something to take pride in. Not just Indian, Ethnic style is referred to as a style that originates from a particular region or country and is almost like a staple there. A few examples can be Sarees, Salwar-Kurtas, Kaftans, Kimonos, Tunics, etc.

Where: There is absolutely no restriction with Ethnic. For the people who follow it, know it can be flaunted anywhere. Fusion and Indo-western, however, bring a little edge and fun to the ethnic style, making it more wearable and comfortable. Be it work, festivals, occasions, parties, or just another regular day, Ethnic Style is always in trend, in some version or the other.

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Casual Style

Casual:

CASUAL – as the name suggests, is what we usually wear on the regular days. A pair of jeans, a plain or printed t-shirt, a jacket or a hoodie, a cap and sunnies to get you through the bright days, and a pair of casual sneakers is all that makes a casual look. Not high-maintenance at all. And the best part? You can either dress it up or down, depending upon the occasion and plan. Casual has to be the most practical of all styles, as it takes care of both, comfort and style, all at once.

Where: Casual doesn’t need all that much explaining, no does it? You can just throw it on for a walk, a stroll down the street, for some grocery shopping, to hang out with friends, a movie date, and what-not! If done the right way, this can be your key to finding the right balance between over and under-dressed.

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Minimal Style

Minimal:

Minimal is a Style that falls right between Classic and Casual. The people who lean towards minimal clothing usually love to look classy, without being too fussy about it, and also want to have the comfort of casual clothing, minus the “just threw these on” vibe of it. Just as the name suggests, the minimal style includes fewer items of clothing, lesser accessories, and very few colors. In fact, people who identify their style as minimal, usually have repetitive colors in their wardrobe and are mostly seen rocking the monochromatic outfits, with tiny, simple accessories.

Where: Just like the Classic Style, Minimal Style can be a part of your lifestyle and personality more than just the dresses you wear. Having said that, it can be styled anywhere and anytime.

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Vintage Style

Vintage/ retro:

Vintage, as the name suggests, dates back up to 100 years back. And might be referred to as ‘Retro’ by few, especially in our country. Whatever be the period, the essence of vintage style is to take inspiration from older trends, or using vintage items, and rocking them in the present day with your own touch to it. Although not many choose to go Vintage on regular days, there are always elements of the vintage style we have all adopted quite a few times in our style.

Where: Theme parties, House parties, Get-Togethers, Date Nights, or Proms and other Celebrations. Vintage is for the strong-hearted but would leave anyone who sets their eyes on you, light-headed.

The 7 Fashion Styles that should make it to your Favorites’ list: Punk Style

Punk:

Punk is a style that originates way beck and holds a sea of history to it. The style, however, in the current day, has gotten limited to black jackets, dark-colored clothes, messy hair-dos, and leather. It screams leather, metal, and spikes. The Punk Style was considered loud and obnoxious back in the day but as fashion has evolved, we have inculcated elements of punk style to our wardrobes as well. Think leather jackets, high boots, fishnet stockings, torn denim, dark tattoos, or a messy look. We’ve done it all.

Where: Punk as a style is considered very stylish and sharp. You can pull it off on a winter night, a movie with friends, bike rides, shows and concerts, or just a casual day that you want to spice up with the rebel in you.

I am sure that going through each style would’ve sparked a familiarity in you, with the one you identify with. These styles may be individually categorized but many of the styles in Fashion have a striking similarity with others. No matter what your style, be it boho, punk, casual, classic, minimal, or anything else from the list, confidence doesn’t come from what you wear, but from how you carry it. And we at Kenisha Styles help you create the best style statement by our team of Fashion Stylist. So keep learning, keep experimenting, and keep building the Epitome of Confidence.
